Managing your disability in the banking sector: Support, adjustments & so much more
The banking, finance, and technology sector has long been at the forefront of disability inclusion and continues to make significant progress. For more than 20 years, organisations across the sector have recognised the valuable skills, perspectives, and strengths that disabled people bring to their workforces.
Many have actively worked, and continue to work, to make their recruitment processes more inclusive, ensure appropriate support is in place, and create environments in which employees can thrive and progress.
In this webinar, you will hear directly from people working in banking, from trainees to experienced professionals, who will share their personal experiences of navigating the sector as disabled employees.
Speakers will explore, among other topics:
- Accessing support during recruitment and in the workplace
- Having conversations about disability with colleagues and managers
- The role of Disability Networks in fostering inclusive cultures
The session will be interactive, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and learn more about building a successful career in banking as a disabled student.
“I don’t think I would’ve had the career I have had, including working for Barclays, UBS and PWC, if I hadn’t found MyPlus Students’ Club & your events. A big thank you!”
Please note that in order to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable speaking and contributing, we do not record our webinars.
