“My dyslexia and people’s preconceptions of it makes me determined to show the world that I am not less, only different. This determination means I push myself to defy people’s expectations of my capabilities, pushing me to take opportunities that I wouldn’t otherwise. Being dyslexic gives me an edge in solving problems; I can think differently to see solutions that others might not. It also gives me an appreciation of other individuals who see and interact with the world differently. I can appreciate their unique talents and strengths. The challenges I have overcome because of my dyslexia make me who I am today. My Plus is my difference.” – Sarah Trolley.
