If you have a disability, you’re still at uni and have at least one year left of study, you can apply to our Scholarship Programme. As part of the programme, we offer you paid work experience each summer and we will also offer you a £9,000 grant per year to pay for your tuition for your remaining university years (up to four years). If you have or are due to finish your studies in the next 12 months, have a think about our Graduate Programme which, through three 6-month placements, is designed to give you well-rounded experience in all aspects of our business. We take into account your career aspirations when placing our Grads, but you don’t need to have a specialism in mind as many of our Grads go on to have hugely varied careers within MO. Studying Computer Science or Economics? We offer 12 month Industrial Placement opportunities to supplement your studies at university. Our IP students work on a number of different projects across the year, and are well placed to apply for a full time role once they have finished their course. The Graduate Programme at Motability Operations is designed to provide you with a breadth of opportunities to aid your career development and progression.
Over a period of 18 months you will work across our sites in London and Bristol in a variety of departments and on a range of projects. You will have the opportunity to explore different areas of the business, develop specialist, commercial and management skills and push the boundaries of your potential. From developing a reporting tool to supporting management teams in implementing strategy, we can guarantee you new experiences and challenges in a supportive, collaborative environment.
You’ll need a minimum 2:1 degree (in any discipline) to qualify for the Graduate Programme, and have gained valuable work experience ideally within a business environment. We welcome Graduates from all backgrounds and who may need adjustments, but in general we are looking for graduates who are:

The Recruitment process at Motability Operations starts with an online application form. We open applications for our Graduate Programme in October, and applications for our Industrial Placements open in December, so please check back for our live vacancies then when you will be able to access the application form by clicking the ‘jobs’ section of the MyPlus website. Once we have received your application we will review and if you meet the minimum criteria for the role or programme you have applied for we will invite you to the first assessment stage. This will vary depending on what you are applying for but could consist of a telephone interview or assessment centre. You will be notified at each stage of the process with regards to whether you have been successful or not.

We have a Disability Networking Group which is made up of volunteers from across the business. The focus of the group is to nurture internal disability champions, increase awareness, build confidence and drive disability best practice within Motability Operations. Below are just some examples of adjustments that we have made for employees.
Providing specialist equipment such as a fibre optic mouse, telephony equipment for hearing impaired employees and visual aids for a dyslexic employee.
Additional coaching sessions for employees that have had extended periods out of work, to rebuild their confidence.
Phased return to work plans for employees that have had time out of work.
